Dear Parents,
During our assembly on Tuesday morning I explained to our K-6 students that as they grow older if they remembered just one thing I have said to them, then it would be the following:
“Girls and boys,
I think you are luckiest children in Australia. There are FOUR main reasons why I think you are the luckiest children in Australia. They are:
1. You are most fortunate to have the most loving, caring, and supportive parents I have ever met.
2. You have the most wonderful friends at Auburn North who are always friendly and kind, who live and breathe our school values, and who help make school fun every single day for you.
3. You are so lucky to have the most dynamic, skilled, and hard-working teachers I have seen in any of the schools in the five countries in which I have taught.
4. Your parents and teachers have developed trusting and mutually respectful relationships and work together in perfect harmony to assist you become the most outstanding young people you can become.”
These four features of our Auburn North FAMILY have been clearly on display this term and they have ensured that despite the term's challenges due to COVID, our students have continued to achieve excellent wellbeing and learning outcomes this term.

OUR PARENT-TEACHER TELE-CONFERENCES
Our Auburn North leaders and teachers were delighted that the vast majority of our parents took the opportunity this week to speak with their children’s teachers about their children’s progress since the beginning of this year.
Our teachers were able to develop a deeper understanding of their students, and parents were able to learn how they can assist their children’s emotional and academic development.
HAPPY HOLIDAY
It has been such a successful term but now it is time for students, staff, and parents to rest and relax and enjoy a well-earned two-week holiday.
We wish everyone a healthy and happy holiday and we look forward to our students returning to school on Wednesday 27th April.
