CLASS REPORTS
Please enjoy the attached Class Report from 1HL. I would like to thank 1Hl students and their teacher Ms Harvey-Latham.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
It has been such a wonderful succesful term for all members of our special Auburn North Public School Family.
I would like to thank our dedicated and very talented staff for their professionalism and total commitment to the education and welfare of our most fortunate students and I wish all members of community a peaceful and relaxing two-week holiday.
We look forward to seeing staff and students returning on Monday 10th October.
(There is no pubil free day in Term 4).
1HL have had an amazing term and a wonderful year so far! We have all improved in all learning areas from moving up a reading level, to counting to 120 to making new friends. In mathematics lessons we have learnt about place value, and we can describe the value of each digit in a two-digit number.
In the classroom we have also used our creativity skills to write very exciting narratives that include an orientation, complication, and a problem. We even created our own characters by using interesting adjectives and adverbs in our stories!
We were so lucky this term because 1HL were able to use robots called Blue Bots. We used our critically thinking skills to code these Blue Bots to move from one location to another location on an iPad. We also learnt new technology skills such as typing!
Out of the classroom we were taught by the wonderful Year 5 students. They taught us about all of the Auburn North values during sporting games where we learnt how to play new fun games. We made new friends that we wave to when we see them in the playground!
We are looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring!
